A THRIFTY TikToker has claimed his side hustle of selling books has seen him rake in thousands of dollars.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrepreneur, known as Raiken Profit, launched the online business as he couldn’t stand working a normal 9-5 job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said that he had to make a change as he “felt like an animal locked in a cage”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The influencer scans the bookshelves at thrift stores, looking for items that he can sell online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raiken Profit has claimed his margins now stand at between 35-40 per cent and wants to earn a whopping $40,000 a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is exploring new ways how to source items as he wants to grow his business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The businessman has offered a series of tips for budding entrepreneurs who want to pursue a similar side hustle.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He urged people to visit their local thrift store, adding it is \u201cone of the keys to being successful as a bookseller\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raiken Profit said entrepreneurs should look for fiction and nonfiction books and avoid the types that are mass produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He also urged them to invest in a Bluetooth device that can scan books rapidly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those who like transcribing audio might be able to rake in a whopping $3,000 a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hauling away junk is a side hustle that some people have even been able to turn into a full-blown business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Websites like 1-800-GOT-JUNK<\/a> can help you join a team in your area, or start your own if you feel up to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you get moving, the estimated average earnings<\/a> are $35 an hour<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may be able to earn up to\u00a0$20 an hour<\/a>\u00a0if you\u2019re babysitting for a friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mom-of-three Mona Mejia told The Sun that she tends to make between $8,000 and $9,000 selling clothes online.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And, a TikToker, known as\u00a0Amzpatharris<\/a>,\u00a0has claimed he makes thousands of dollars every month thanks to an\u00a0Amazon side gig.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
