The author of Learn How to Increase Your Chances of Winning suggests using your lottery winnings<\/a> to buy additional tickets is a huge key to being a big winner.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Lustig advised against the commonly-used quick-pick method, however.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A key part of his tried and tested strategy is picking your own set of numbers – and sticking to them like a magnet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In fact, picking a “good number” is essential to lottery success, Lustig told the\u00a0Jerusalem Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He pointed out that although all numbers are technically equal in their odds, it is worth researching which numbers come up the most often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Lustig said people who pocket even small winnings are “playing the game wrong.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n A $10 win should be followed by an $11 dollar play, because “if you lose, you only lost a $1,” he told ABC <\/a>in 2010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is the method Lustig used to win a 98,000 prize in\u00a0Florida’s<\/a>\u00a0Fantasy 5 game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He also won $842,000 in 2002, the biggest prize in his jackpot-winning career,\u00a0Lottery Critic<\/a>\u00a0says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before honing lottery strategy as a craft, Lustig was in debt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
